Campus Map
The Caltech Salsa Club uses various venues on campus for its lessons, parties, and performances. Use the map below to help you locate a specific venue, or refer to the pdf version. Click here to find where classes will be on a given day.
Parking is free on Caltech campus after 5pm and on weekends. You may park in any of the campus parking lots, except in handicapped zones. You can also usually find street parking, but note that Pasadena prohibits street parking between 2am and 6am.
Winnett Lounge
Winnett Lounge is located on the second level of building 51, above the bookstore (D-4 on the map). We hold many of our classes and smaller parties here. Winnett Lounge has linoleum floors.
Dabney Hall
Dabney Hall is located within builiding 40 (C-4 on the map). You can enter through the walled garden on the north-east side. We often hold classes and larger parties here. Dabney has beautiful wooden floors, particularly fine for dancing.
Broad Walk
Broad Walk is an outdoor, paved area framed by palm trees (B-2 on the map). The large expanse of flat area makes for fun dancing in the summer, when we hold our 'street salsa' events.
Gym Multipurpose Room
The multipurpose room makes an excellent rehearsal venue for performance events, as it has a wooden floor, full length mirrors, and is well lit. We typically use this for dance team rehearsals. (B-5 on the map.)
Ramo Auditorium
Ramo Auditorium is located on the ground floor at the South end of Baxter Building (#77). The annual Caltech Dance Show is performed here every April. (C-3 on the map.)
