First off, a big thanks to Sergio for teaching another 8-week series of Salsa! Secondly, I would like to announce the next 8 week series.
*The Spring series of salsa classes begins on April 18th and it ends on June 6th 2012*
The series runs for a total of 8 weeks. We will be organizing occassional socials outgoings as well. The socials are intended to provide an excellent opportunity for students to practice their new moves and share some knowledge. All classes will be held in Winnett Lounge. The socials are intended to provide an excellent opportunity for students to practice their new moves and share some knowledge (We will be hosting the social in the Catalina Rec room, more details in class). Caltech Salsa Club at the CLUB FAIR!. Look for our table next to the ATM/bookstore on Sept 28th from 4:30 to 7:30 pm. We are teaching a free lesson at Winnett Lounge at 8 pm.

We performed with the Caltech Jazz Orchestra with a full house at Beckman Auditorium on day after S. Hawinkg's talk. Yes many people were left behind because of not enough seats and they arrived late. Videos will be posteed soon, stay tuned.

It is this Saturday at 8 pm in Beckman Auditorium (The wedding cake-like building). We would like to give a BIG thank you to Arlene Santos for the great job of undertaking the teaching of salsa LA-style at Caltech for 2 years. We are in debt for her incredible job and her team, it has been a pleasure. She help us with setting up the choreography for two dance shows (2009-2010) and was immerse in teaching as much as possible, always putting time and effort on it. We will miss her.
